Classes will be offered in the following subjects: Art Biology Business Foreign Languages History Home Economics Physics Psychology Sociology Administration Mathematics Social Work Chemistry Education English Music Physical Education Speech Alabama College offers four undergraduate degrees, the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Science, the Bachelor of Music Education and the Bachelor of Music. GRADUATE PROGRAM Courses will be offered on the graduate level in elementary edu- cation; supervision; administration; secondary education with majors in biology, education, English, health, physical education, recreation, history, psychology, speech and speech correction. The Master of Arts Degree in Teaching is awarded during the summer session. Main Residence Hall The Tower, Alabama College Landmark Laboratory Facilities Outdoor Studying Atmosphere Recreation for Children SPECIAL PROGRAMS Fach summer several workshops, institutes,- and clinics are held at Alabama College. Included are the Summer Workshop Program and Demonstration School for Teachers, the Institute for High School Science Teachers and the Speech and Hearing Clinic. LIVING ACCOMODATIONS Comfortable living accommodations are available for men, women and for families. Two of the college's six residence halls are air condi- tioned. Air conditioned dining facilities are available for summertime comfort. Children of summer school students at Alabama College who wish to attend school in the Montevallo elementary and secondary schools should write to the principal of Montevallo High School, Montevallo, Alabama. RECREATION The 520-acre campus plus a 28-acre lake provide facilities for family outings, picnics, boating and fishing. Healthy recreation is abundant with swimming, golf, tennis, volleyball, softball and other sports facilities.
